In response to my blog post, I received a message from Larry Wilson the CEO and Founder of OppositesConnect.com, an online dating website which aims to get you out of that rut of dating the “same” people over and over again. They’ve got a number of conversation starters that may put you in touch with someone with whom you could have a surprising and fun time talking to. While you might think that dating an opposite could be risky, they claim to take good care in not matching what they call “combustible opposites” (folks who have nothing in common) but try to connect those who have matching core values but whose likes/passions and other details may differ. According to OppositesConnect.com, they are the first of their kind in the dating website world. June 28th is their website’s launch and lifetime membership is free for a limited time.
